Dieffenbachia also called Dumb Cane is a very common tropical indoor plant that is popular for it’s beautiful white and green foliage and easy care requirements. The plant gets its weird name because it possesses a chemical that can cause temporary loss of speech if any part of the plant is chewed or eaten.
